- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Checkout Operations:
- Accurately and expeditiously scan and process items via the point-of-sale system.
- Manage cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods, returning correct change and providing receipts.
- Safeguard and appropriately package customers’ purchases.
Cash Handling and Accounting:
- At the commencement and conclusion of each shift, tally and reconcile the cash drawer.
- Maintain precise records of transactions, voids, discounts, and refunds.
- Promptly report any discrepancies or anomalies in cash transactions to a supervisor.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the checkout area, ensuring it is well-stocked with essential supplies.
- Arrange and exhibit impulse purchase items at the checkout for the convenience of customers.
Adherence to Store Policies:
- Strictly comply with store policies and protocols concerning sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Adhere to safety measures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate harmoniously with fellow store staff to ensure a seamless shopping encounter for customers.
