Trump was fined $355M for fake business in New York

A judge in New York has said that Donald Trump and his company must pay more than $364 million in a case where they are accused of fraud.

New York Attorney General Letitia James won a case against Donald Trump and his friends. She took legal action after looking into their activities for three years.

On Friday, Judge Arthur Engoron made a decision that requires Trump and his main organization to pay most of the money, which is nearly $355 million.

Trump's sons, Eric and Donald Jr., owe $4 million each. Ex-Trump Organization executive Allen Weisselberg owes $1 million.

The total amount, including interest, is over $450 million, says the attorney general's office.

Engoron found fraud and said the ex-president, his sons, and other leaders are responsible.
